I have been tying to get out and about but it has been tough between the job search, kids getting ready then going back to school and trying to keep up with my household duties!!  

I did get a few books from the local library, that tell about all sorts of hikes and parks in the area.  

During the summer we did make it to Pt. Defiance Park.  

I love taking photos ..... especially of flowers :)

And of course I have edited these a bit but I think they turned out great!!  :)

We also made it to Titlow Beach just South of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

We need to discover more local treasures!!  :)
